• Petrol /Diesel vehicles are not allowed up to the main entrance so the government facilitates by providing Battery operated van/ Golf cart.
• Best time to visit Sunrise or sunset (September to April)
• Opening and closing time- Taj Mahal ticket windows opens at half an before Sunrise and closed before half an hour to the sunset.
• Half liter mineral water bottle and shoe covers are free with foreign tickets.
• Video camera is only allowed up to the certain limits at the Taj Mahal and you have to pay the sum of INR 25/- per camera and still camera is free.
• Boat ride is not allowed in Yamuna River which is behind the Taj Mahal on account of security reasons.
