Day 1 (Sunday) : Delhi - Agra

A grand welcome awaits you as you reach safdarjung Railway station, this is early morning and the station reverberates with the classical traditional welcome updated to the travelers of the Maharajas express. The train departs from the station to Agra and you enjoy an onboard breakfast, detailed tour briefing is done and you get an introduction to the seven star facilities of the train. The Train proceeds to Agra and its time for lunch, after lunch you leave for sightseeing of Agra Fort a grand magestic fort with series of palaces built by the great Mughals. After the sightseeing return back to the train and enjoy the onboard comforts. After dinner enjoy the cosy confines of the Maharajas express.

Day 2 (Monday) : Agra - Ranthambore

Rise early as you havea date with Taj Mahal, the marble marvel very well known for its ethereal beauty. Enjoy a breakfast near the Taj Mahal at the Taj Khema. Post breakfast proceed to Maharaj’s express and the train commences its journey to Sawai Madhopur, enjoy an onboard Lunch. Upon arrival at Sawai Madhopur enjoy a Jungle Safari at Ranthambore National Park. The park famous for a high density of Indian Tigers and sighting of a tiger is more frequent in Ranthambore .After the safari return back to the Maharajas express as the train proceeds to Jaipur. Enjoy dinner at one of the onboard restaurants of Maharajas Express.

Day 3 (Tuesday) : Jaipur

After breakfast we proceed on to the sightseeing of Jaipur starting with Amber fort, The Amber is a classical example of Rajputana style of architecture.The fort is situated high on a hill. After the sightseeing you will be driven back to the Maharajas express. Enjoy an onboard lunch at the Maharajas express. After lunch get engrossed in optional activities like enjoying the facilities of a spa or enjoy sightseeing of City palace. The city palace is the palace museum built by the Jaipur Royals here you can enjoy and experience the royal Indian elephants. Today the dinner is hosted at a premium palace hotel of Jaipur –The Rambagh Palace, enjoy the dinner and the exquisite settings of Rambagh Palace hotel.After dinner proceed back to the train and it commences its journey to Bikaner.

Day 4 (Wednesday) : Bikaner

The train arrives at Bikaner, after breakfast you can choose to visit the famous rat temple of Deshnok, the deity of the temple Karni Mata was revered by the rulers of Bikaner state. If interested you can also visit the Lalgarh museum. In the afternoon return back to the Maharajas express join in for an onboard lunch. After lunch visit the famous Junagarh fort palace where the exhibits from the bygone era entice the visitors. After visiting the Junagarh fort enjoy an evening amidst the sand dunes of the Thar desert. The sand dunes welcome you with a Hi tea, barbecue, Cocktails and an evening decked with folk dance of the Cobra nautch girls( Kalbeliya dancers). After the fun filled evening return back to the Maharajas express and the train resumes its journey to Jodhpur.

Day 5 (Thursday) : Jodhpur

The train arrives at Jodhpur, After having a sumptuous breakfast get engrossed in some optional activities like a visit to the ethnic tribal Bishnoi village or spa at a famous five star hotel in Jodhpur or an excursion to Jaswant thada or Umaid bhawan palace. After lunch visit the lofted Mehrangarh fort palace with very high walls , this fort has featured in famous Hollywood films and documentaries.. After the visit enjoy the tuk-tuk ride ( Auto rickshaw) and enjoy a walking tour of the Jodhpur city at Old fountain market. In the evening enjoy a regal cocktail dinner at Khaas bagh a heritage hotel of Jodhpur. After dinner return back to the Maharajas express . The train moves on to Udaipur.

Day 6 (Friday) : Udaipur

Today enjoy an onboard breakfast , the train arrives at Udaipur the lake city of the desert state of Rajasthan , enjoy a boat ride on lake Pichola and be a spectacle to the grandeur of Udaipur.Later visit the City palace and crystal gallery. Enjoy a regal lunch at hotel Fateh prakash palace. After lunch return back to the Maharajas express.In Udaipur if time permits get engrossed in some optional activities like a private shopping tour or enjoy spa at a five star hotel or enjoy a light sound show . As the sun goes down the train resumes its journey to Mumbai the final destination of Maharajas express.

Day 7 (Saturday) : Mumbai (Disembark)

After rising enjoy an onboard breakfast , enjoy the rustic life of the Mumbai city as the train passes through the old Mumbai stations and the city finally reaching the Lokmanya tilak terminus. Lok manya tilak is the final destination of the Maharajas express here disembark and bid farewell to the Maharajas express with a bucket full of memories.
