Haunted City Tour Plan

Agra city is famous all over the globe on account of the Taj Mahal and other beautiful monuments of mughal pre-mughal and post-mughal era. Other famous monument series you can explore at Fatehpur sikri. Which is popularly known as the haunted city or the ghost city.

Fatehpur sikri can easily be covered from Agra or Jaipur by car. This is nearly 200 kms. From Jaipur and just 40 kms. Away from Agra. You will be provided with a luxury car and a local tour guide for the entire tour besides the regular and famous monument Deevan – I – Am, Deevan – I – Khas, Panch Mahal, Turkish sultana’ palace, Marian palace, Jodhabai palace, Beerbal Palace, you also visit kabootar khana (Pigeon Horse) and the religious section which compresses of a great Mosque and the mausoleum of the Sufi saint saleem Chisti. The tour guide will also show you the highest gateway of the world.

You will be taken to some neglected monuments as well. Such as – Dream Horse, Taksal (the mint), Samosa Mahal and the Goonga Mahal. Later our tour guide would take you closer to the Moti Lake and you explore enormous baoli’s (Stepwells) some of which are considered to be haunted by the localities. Here you come across the splendid system of rain water harvesting of the mughals. These step wells are having beautiful painting. You also get to see the big dam Terah mori (13 drains) which was constructed in the ancient times to hold water and to supply to the city. Closer to Moti Lake you visit an Indian village to see the Indian life. You will enjoy a tea break in the village tour. Later you depart in the same car to Agra/Jaipur.
