Location of Candolim Beach: - The candolim beach just lies adjacent to the calangute beach infact the series of straight line beaches starts with Sinquerim beach after the lower Aguada Fort, After Sinquerim is the Candolim beach then Calangute and then Baga there is no natural demarcation and the straight line coast is divided all the way in these beaches. The candolim beach is located 12.6 kms from the capital city Panaji, you can hire a car/taxi to reach the beach you can also use the Public transport which is also quite accessible. The International airport at Dabolim is another 41.5 kms and easily you can hire taxi from the airport to reach Candolim.

Candolim Beach Features – The road to the beach is named Murood Vadoo and this beach road is a long un interrupted series of shops selling clothes, fashion accessories, leather articles, restaurants, tattoo parlous, some famous Goan restaurants are also located on this road -Inferno, Teamor, Moody-moon are some famous restaurants located here. The road culminates in to a children park on one side and a parking where you can park your vehicles, the road is nicely paved and cleanliness is also A one. As you approach the beach you can notice a shack named Claudina’s right on the corner this shack is famous for its English song collection and the DJ.
The Candolim beach is not as crowded as the Calangute beach though not much visual difference can be made between these two beaches, if you don’t love crowds then you should choose the Candolim beach which being lesser crowded is nicer, cleaner and more enjoyable, the natural vibes of the sea waves is more pronounced at the candolim beach.

Shacks at Candolim - The beach has long series of shacks running parallel to the golden sands they have the beach beds and recliners lined up in front for the tourists. The customers are not charged for the beach beds while a nominal charge of 100 per hour is charged from the non customers.
