10 Days Char Dham Yatra

Day 1:- Arrival at Haridwar - Barkot

You arrive at the Haridwar railway station where our representative welcomes you and you will meet your driver, after refreshing up you start your trip to mussorie further up to Barkot. If interested you can enjoy the Kempty falls as you drive across mussorie. Driving for few hours you will reach Barkot. Enjoy a smooth check in to your respective hotel. Overnight at Barkot.

Day 2:- Explore Barkot

After breakfast we drive you to phool Chatti here you will leave your car and embark on a trek for 6 kms. If interested you can walk this 6 kms stretch or you can hire and ride a pony or a palanquin. The Himalayan hills covered with conifers, ferns and blooming hill flowers will greet you on your way. Before proceeding on to the temple you can visit the hot springs at surya kund. The water is so hot that pilgrims get rice boiled in the water and take it as Prasad. Take a bath at Jamna Bai Kund before you go on to venerate the Divya Shila and the Divine Yamnotri. Start your return journey to Janki chatti. Here you will meet your drive who will drive you back to Barkot. Overnight at Barkot.

Day 3:- Barkot - Uttarkashi

After breakfast we start our drive to UttarKashi a town on the banks of river Bhagirathi (85 kms). The Uttarkashi town leads to some excellent Himalayan treks. The town is also known for Shiva temple. Do the Darshan at the famous temple of Uttarkashi overnight at a hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 4:- Uttarkashi

Today early morning start your drive to Gangotri you can bath at the hot spring at Gangnani. Gangotri is supposed to be the place of origin of Bhagirathi. Bhagirathi is the river which is called Ganges after it crosses Dev prayag where it meets another river called Alaknanda. The glacier of river Ganges is around 19 kms from Gangotri, after paying homage at the Gangotri temple do visit the Bhagirath shila and pandava Gufa. Later drive back to uttarkashi. Overnight at Uttarkashi.

Day 5:- Uttarkashi - Guptkashi

Today after breakfast be driven by your trusted driver to Guptkashi a distance of 220 kms taking around 6-7 hours. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Uttarakhand Himalayas. The rivers like Bhagirathi running along the serpentine hill roads. Upon reaching Guptkashi check in at respective hotel overnight at Guptkashi.

Day 6:- Guptkashi - Kedarnath

Today get ready for an exhaustive trek of 19 kms, Your driver will leave you at sonprayag from here you will start your trek to kedarnath. This trek can be done on foot or you can ride the ponies or ride the Palanquins, as you scale up the temperature drops and at Kedarnath it becomes quite chilly. Do keep woolen clothes along with some medicines handy and an emergency kit. Usually during the season time is a long serpentine queue of the devotees waiting patiently for the darshan of kedarnath Baba. You may have to wait a while for the darshan. After darshan enjoy the surrounding environs of kedarnath Do see the gigantic Bheem shila which saved the kedarnath temple during the catastrophy of 2013. Overnight at kedarnath.

Day 7:- Kedarnath - Guptkashi

Early morning take a bath, straight head to the kedarnath temple pay your reverence to the Kedarnath baba, do the Abhishek pooja be blessed by the divine darshan. After the darshan trek down to your driver waiting at sonprayag. Be driven to Guptkashi. Overnight at Guptkashi.

Day 8:- Guptkashi - Badrinath

After breakfast you start your drive to the Badrinath dham situated around 215 kms a drive of around 7-8 hours through the picturesque valleys of Uttarakhand. The valley of the Nar and narayan mountains in the abode of Badrinath. Upon arrival at Badrinath check in at hotel. Explore the surroundings at Badrinath see the sheshnetra Ashram, Brahmakapal, Mata Murti temple, Vasundhara waterfall overnight at Badrinath.

Day 9:- Badrinath

Rise early take a bath at the tapta kund and go for darshan at badrinath temple. The temple of Badri vishal resembles a Buddhist pagoda and looks fabulous with a splendor of colours. After the darshan visit the last Indian village of Mana enjoy the picturesque surrounding at Mana. Overnight at Badrinath.

Day 10:- Badrinath – Hardwar Departure

Today early morning drive to Haridwar around 300 kms. On arrival at Haridwar say good bye to your trusted driver. Our tour ends.
